Our circumstances create feelings and thoughts – that, in turn, make our energy plane filled with good vibrations or bad vibrations. We as human beings – have the innate ability to chose what we think and feel in spite of our circumstances. Life becomes simpler once you understand the everyday practices to attract good energy.

1. Start your day with Good Feeling Energy

Avoid going into the loop of thinking low energy thoughts that you may have felt in the past.  Wake up with a conscious effort to make this day one of the most beautiful days you are going to live.

Start saying to yourself – “My time starts NOW”. “I am extremely happy that I have the ability to choose happiness.” Say to yourself in a positive affirmation “I am in charge of how I feel and today I choose happiness.”  

Remember, each one of you is empowered to make the choice of letting good feeling energies invade your vibes.  You alone have the power to bring in the positivity that surrounds you. 

Tips: Start by smiling at yourself in the mirror (is a bit weird in the beginning!). Shift your focus from bad to good feeling energy.  Think of three things each morning present in your life due to which you feel happy and blessed within your life. Every time you feel bad – think of them as your three cushions to lean on and embrace positive energy.

2. Understand the power of your Subconscious Thoughts

You must be aware of your conscious mind and thoughts, however, it is usually the ‘positive people’ whose conscious is in sync with their unconscious. Your conscious thoughts are more fruit of your circumstances on a day to day basis, however, your subconscious mind is based on your deep-rooted beliefs.

To make this simpler here’s an example: you may want to go to watch the film “Avengers The End Game” on the very first day it gets released in the theatres. You say it to your conscious mind. However, in your subconscious mind, you have a hidden belief that when you want something bad – it never happens as per your wish. Therefore, when you book the tickets you get a “Sold Out” response. 

Tips: Here, the secret is to understand what the limiting beliefs are and are contrary to your conscious thoughts and feelings and how to alter them.

Firstly, identify the limiting belief.

Secondly, make sure you replace it with a belief that makes you feel good energy-wise and lifts your spirits.

Thirdly, replace the belief with positive feeling energy or thought.

Say to yourself (affirm) as you book the tickets “I am so happy because I get the best all the time in everything I do. I totally deserve happiness and success.”

3. Stop absorbing negativity in and around you

Stuff happens! It is important how you react to it and allow the negativity to seep into your vibes. Negativity is something often hidden and you may never know that you actually carry it in you. Since you are attracting these negative energies in the form of people, relationships or circumstances, it is time to see what is it in ‘you’ that is attracting it all.

So, let us discover how to change one’s own vibration. People around could be either positive or negative. Most important is to note that you tune into their energy frequencies on a subconscious plane.  If the negativity is ingrained in your subconscious – you conscious won’t even be aware of it. But you will meet these negative people and be caught unaware. Soon you will hold negative energy (dislike) for them or they for you. Their energy will reciprocate what you feel for them. 

Tips: Identify if you do or think any of the these –

  • blame
  • complain
  • criticize
  • judge
  • victimize yourself
  • feel less fortunate
  • watch and talk about negative news or incidents
  • think you will be grateful only when something good happens
  • a feeling that things just happen to you and you don’t know why.

If your answer is yes! Start by taking ownership of both good and bad. Rather than being grateful when something big happens, start being grateful for What is ( good and bad both). Each one of us creates our own lives and experiences – therefore take responsibility and bring up your vibrations by clearing negative energy. Adopt a positive attitude.

4. Do not speak about your problems or diseases

The more you talk about your problems the more energy you give to them. The more energy you give to them, the more it expands. As a result, the number of people you talk to, more energy transfers from one to another and has a snowballing effect. The outcome is – the problem persists.

Each time you talk or tell someone about the negative circumstance you happen to re-live the entire incident in your mind. You end up giving it more energy than required for it to go out of your life.

Tips: The trick to manifest positive energy in the form of solutions or good health is a simple method to change your perspective. For instance, Don’t say or even think: “I am in so much pain.” “I have become handicapped and dependent on others for little things.” “I am helpless.” Instead, reverse your thoughts or say:“I acquired this infection, however, I am happy that I am taking really good care of it.” “I am improving and feeling positive and better every day.”

5. Stop Negative Self-talk

Practice positive self-talk. Make sure you are surrounded by positive people who bring out the best in you. Negative people may give you advise or influence you in an unhealthy manner both mentally and physically. Talking poorly of self lowers your self-esteem and soon your good energy vibes vanish. 

Tips: Identify the negative-chatter in your mind about yourself. You can be sure you indulge in it if you do any of the following:

(1) You magnify the problem and ignore the blessings or happiness out of a situation.

(2) Self blames yourself for anything bad that happens with you.

(3) You think it’s a bad day and everything negative possible will happen.

(4) A tendency to put yourself on a high pedestal of self-expectation and not forgiving yourself if you are less than the very best. 

These habits once identified can be changed with awareness and conscious effort. Try to take things lightly and find humour in all that happens. As soon as a thought to pull you down comes in your mind – replace it with a positive feeling affirmation. Soon your energies will lift and you will switch from “self-criticism to self-acceptance.”

6. You are unstoppable – recognize the power within

Don’t let anything or anyone pull you down from your good energy state. You have all the right in the world to be happy and content with who you are. Others will say or do according to what their life has taught them, and what they say could be painful at times. However, take a step away from such a situation where your positive energy is getting sapped due to what is happening or what is said about you. Recognize it, and be mindful as you realize each one of us is unique and powerful and so are you. Therefore, by making yourself miserable over something someone else said or did you are consciously giving them the power over you.  

Tips: To empower yourself mentally, emotionally and spiritually practice the three steps:

Firstly, take out time for yourself – light candles, play your favourite music and be almost in a meditative state. Soak in the good energy feeling state that your soul loves to be in.

Secondly, focus on what you really love about yourself as a soul – communicate with your inner self – give it attention.

Thirdly, pay attention to any changes that you need to make to become a better person. Start taking steps to make the necessary actions. 

The idea is to conquer your fears and insecurities and love your own soul. Feel the full extent of the Power that is You!

7. Laugh Louder for Good Energy

Laughter is the best medicine, they say! Laughing out aloud is an ideal physical and emotional therapy. It reduces stress and automatically boosts our mood. After having laughed one feels lighter and one’s attitude to life improves – so much so that you are ready to take on tough challenges in your stride.

The more you laugh the more you see things from a positive perspective. 

Tips: To introduce laughter in your life – choose the people who you hang around with carefully. Laughter doubles up when shared with someone.

Watch TV or YouTube videos to tickle your funny bones – there are innumerable ones in each genre. You could also start by laughing at your own self.  Turn the awkward moments, the mistakes or hurdles into something to laugh about oneself and soon the shortcomings cease their power over you.  Moreover, laughter is the best source of good energy-releasing happy chemicals in your body.

8. Rejoice in the Power of Now

Live as if there is no tomorrow. The key is to stop overthinking – of the past and future. The moment that we are present in – loses significance when we spend time in regret and remorse over what has gone by. Or else, we are anxious about what is yet to come. Rather than wasting time in repetitive thoughts the best way to live life is to fully live the present moment.

Why waste today for a tomorrow that you have never seen.

‘Today’ will become a beautiful memory when you look back on it ‘tomorrow’. Therefore, true happiness is attained by Living in the NOW! It is an illusion that you carry when you think you have control over your future.

Tips: Be totally present by immersing yourself fully into any situation you are in. Your attention should not waver. Be so focused on the present moment that you forget everything else at that moment when you are with someone or doing something – even if its a trivial thing. In case you do not feel really charged up about the things you are doing – either, accept the situation or person, change it or move away from it. By embracing the situation you make your peace with it and start taking ownership of the choices you make.
