Managing and Curing diabetes. You can begin today!

Do you have diabetes?

Do you wish you didn’t have to worry about daily sugar levels?

Currently, there are 450 million like you.

Managing  and Curing diabetes is all about regulating the sweetness in your life.

Diabetes is a disease that occurs when the level of glucose in your blood or blood sugar (as it is colloquially called) is very high.

The simple cure for it lies in how you deal with sweetness in your life.

I have received a number of requests from readers on my blog to write about this disease. A challenge for me to dive in deeply into the emotional roots behind this illness that has you at the centre of it.

OUR BODY AND BLOOD SUGAR

Glucose in our blood is your main source of energy for our body. Every cell in our body needs glucose to produce energy.

For instance, the brains only food is glucose. When we eat, sugar levels rise in the blood.

This, in turn, prompts the pancreas to release a hormone called ‘insulin’ into our system. It is Insulins job to opens the doors of the cells in the body, allowing glucose to enter them giving them the much need energy.

As glucose enters the cells, the sugar level in our blood drops again to its normal level.

However, sometimes your pancreas doesn’t make enough insulin or the cells in your body refuse to allow the energy-giving glucose and insulin in.

There is a build-up Glucose in the blood, which flows out as urine. The body loses its main source of fuel leads to other diseases.

TYPES OF DIABETES

TYPE I DIABETES

Type I diabetes is an autoimmune disease.

An autoimmune disease results when the body’s system for fighting infection—the immune system—turns against a part of the body.

In diabetes, the immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. The pancreas then produces little or no insulin.

A person who has type 1 diabetes must take insulin daily to live……

Reasons for Type I Diabetes:

If one thinks negative, unloving thoughts about the body and oneself, how will the cells know not to similarly attack themselves?

Do you think you are too sweet, do you think that family friends and peers at school are walking all over you. Do you perceive yourself as sweet and therefore taken for granted.

Researchers at Linkoping University in Sweden during research questioned more than 10,000 families. They found that children who experienced an extremely stressful life event – like divorce, illness or death in the family – were about three times more likely to develop type 1 diabetes.

Dr Johnny Ludvigsson, a paediatrics researcher at Linkoping University in Sweden, said by email, “ We know that there are connections between the brain and immune system, and it is not surprising that psychological trauma can influence the immune balance and contribute to abnormal reactions including the development of type 1 diabetes, study co-author”.

Most psychologists like Dr Johnny Ludvigsson agree that with self-love comes self-esteem and that needs to be built from an early age.

If your parents love you, you are likely to feel better about yourself – you are blessed.

Many parents are not in that space, either they are fighting their own battles or just too stressed to fill their kids lives with understanding and love.

A cold detached, ‘on the mobile mostly’ world reinforces those feelings of being ignored, unloved, not sweet enough or not attractive enough.

So how do we cure type I diabetes?

If you are in the space where you feel that you are being taken for granted by the world around you, stepped over and you hate your own sweet nature.

Time to change one step at a time!

#DoThisToCureDiabetes
  1. Every morning as you wake u tell yourself that you love and accept yourself just the way you are.
  2. Do one thing every day that shows that you love yourself.
  3. Pamper yourself with something nice that makes a happy addition to the day.
  4. The first thing that you neglect when you are feeling either mentally or physically drained is your body. Start treating it right with love. Pamper your body with a little bit of love a quick lotion rub or a relaxing long bath. It will do wonders to your feeling of oneness with your body while also lifting your energy.

Treating your body like a loving vessel will not only boost your self-love but also your energy. Be intentional about what                    you put into your body, not only because you want to look good but because you want to feel good. Feeding your body                     nutrient-rich foods will have you oozing love out of every pore.

These are only a few ways in which you can change how you think and feel.

TYPE II DIABETES

The most common form of diabetes is type 2 diabetes.

About 90 to 95 % of people with diabetes have type 2. About 80 per cent of people with type 2 diabetes is overweight.

Reasons for Type II Diabetes:

This form of diabetes is most often associated with:

  • certain ethnicities
  • older age
  • obesity
  • family history of diabetes
  • previous history of gestational diabetes
  • physical inactivity

Do you think that the good life is passing you?

For many of us after we cross the half-century mark begin to believe that from here on life is downhill.

Example 1:

Retirement for example to many means cutting down on all the things that make life fun and enjoyable. It is then that many of us withdraw from life and tell ourselves that we have to give up on the luxuries of life because they are not meant for us anymore.

Do you feel that way?

For many a woman, the fifties are a time when the hard work of raising a family is behind you.

You don’t feel as attractive as you used to.

You miss the bringing up years when your children meant your life.

They have flown away and the nest is now empty. It was all you knew! No matter how hard and tough it was the sweet life for us and it is now over and gone. Not for us anymore.

Another facet that changes with age is our attractiveness. We don’t feel as sweet or as attractive as we were once. This too tells on our thoughts feelings and emotions.

In effect, these thoughts, disrupt our ability to digest the sweetness of life.

The big strawberry cakes, the yummy chocolates now look like luxuries for us. In effect, the mind disrupts the body’s ability to digest sweetness. As a result, curing diabetes becomes an uphill task.

Example II:

Another example of not being able to live the sweet life comes through in this Danish study at the Copenhagen University of the 46,000 people surveyed across the country.  The study found that those picked on and bullied by colleagues were 50 %  more likely to fall victim to diabetes.

Why we are not able to retaliate and feel that we are too sweet for our own good is another big reason for us falling victim to diabetes. We are uneasy with our sweetness.

The Danish study is the first time the link between bullying and type 2 diabetes has been discovered. Scientists suspect the pattern could be related to emotional upset fuelling comfort-eating. Men are more vulnerable to the phenomenon than their female counterparts – 61 % compared to 36 %.

Dr Naja Rod, an epidemiologist at Copenhagen University, said, “It is likely both workplace bullying and violence can induce comfort eating behaviour – or increase the risk of experiencing negative emotions – and further contribute to weight gain and subsequent development of type 2 diabetes.”

Once you understand the above curing diabetes becomes easier.

In your mind, if your image of self is low and you believe that you are a bad person who is either too sweet and therefore gets trampled upon.

Or you feel you are not deserving of the good sweetness in your life.

Whichever the case, you need to remember every moment your cells are listening in and sending out signals to other cells.

If you believe being sweet is bad, your thoughts and emotions go in that direction.

Where your thoughts go your body will too!

If you believe you are not deserving of the sweet life your mind is constantly telling your body that #sweet time is up. As a result, your body stops producing the chemicals required to digest sweetness live the sweet life.

A very large percentage of the folks I meet tell me ‘Life is OK’.

The question I ask them is what kind of relationship do you think you are creating for yourself and your body?

Are you sending negative messages and putting in place a whole bunch of negative beliefs about your body.

What do you think?

  • Do you think that you deserve oodles of love and attention?
  • You believe you should be looking after your body because its best working machine we have to live your life?
  • Do you think that it’s worth putting effort into yourselves and your bodies?
